who is tom morrow?

Tom Morrow is an artist, songwriter, and producer making music that feels like it’s reaching out for someone.

Originally from St. Louis and now based in Nashville, he spent several years touring and doing session work as a guitar player with artists like James Blunt, Chase Matthew, and Iam Tongi. Over time, that shifted into writing and producing, with early cuts including “Song for the Road” by Zach Seabaugh. That foundation now feeds directly into his own artist project extending beyond music into a broader, immersive creative identity.

His songs are emotionally direct, often sitting in a space of deep yearning. There’s a balance between vulnerability and edge in his voice, sitting somewhere between the restraint and intensity of Jeff Buckley, Thom Yorke, and Theo Katzman. Production-wise, he tends to keep things minimal when it serves the song, but isn’t afraid to let production and sounds lead the way when it feel right. His upcoming release campaign uniquely begins as a fully self produced acoustic EP available only for digital download. This project showcases stripped down versions of songs he will later release as fully produced versions on all streaming platforms.

Alongside music, he is building his own world around it, creating and starring in his own music videos, “Live at Home” performances featuring him playing every instrument, and creating the Morrow Mag, a mix of visuals, behind-the-scenes moments, and commentary tied to each release.
